PSU VITA will begin doing tax returns on February 23, 2021
Taxes will be done in room 325 Boucke Building.
Due to the coronavirus restrictions, we are modifying our tax preparation procedure for this tax season. To minimize the number of people in our site at any one time and to minimize contact between our volunteers and our clients all returns will be done using a drop off/pick up procedure. The clients will bring their completed intake forms and tax documents to the site. The material will be reviewed by a volunteer then the client will leave the building. We strongly encourage you to complete the intake forms provided on our scheduling website before coming to the site. The return will be completed without the client present. You may be called by the preparer if more information is needed to complete the return. When the return is completed you will be called to set up an appointment to sign the necessary paperwork and to pick up your completed return. A volunteer will be available to do a brief review of the return and answer any questions.
We know this is a valuable program for both our volunteers and our clients. We are attempting to make this process as safe as possible for everyone involved. We will be enforcing University Covid protocols. Masks that cover nose and mouth will be required at all times while at the site and we will observe social distancing and room capacity guidelines. We look forward to serving you.
